What is Cocktail?
Cocktails are the alcoholic hard drinks. Alcohol is mixed with different juices, lemonades, and sodas. These people celebrate their days with Cocktail Parties.
What is Mocktail?
Mocktail is an abbreviation of ‘Mock Cocktail’. They are special non-alcoholic drinks. People who don’t drink alcohol can go for Mocktail. Mocktails are the visually aesthetic & attractive drinks. This is the concept developed for the parties, where people who do not have hard drinks. Mocktail is a dink for everyone.
Mocktails have become so popular that they have a separate section in the menus at the restaurants & bars. Mocktails are a delicious blend of fruit juices, syrups, herbs, etc. You can make a few of them with ingredients that are easily available at home. Below are some quick recipes:
1. Fresh Cucumber Twist:
Combine 2 cups of coconut water, 1 thinly sliced cucumbers, 2 cup lime juice, 2 tablespoon mint leaves and sugar for taste. Refrigerate for 1-2hours. Garnish with few mint leaves & serve.
2. Peachy Twist:
Make a sugar syrup with half cup sugar & water and 1 tablespoon minced ginger in a small pan. Pressing the ginger pieces with a spoon, sieve the syrup into a bowl and let it cool in the fridge. Chop 1 ripe peach finely, put the slices equally into 4 tall glasses & lightly squash the pieces with a spoon. Add a tablespoon of chilled syrup & ice cubes, soda & garnish with mint leaves.
3. Orange Mojito:
Mix, 3 orange chunks, half teaspoon brown sugar, 2 teaspoon lime juice &4 tablespoon mint leaves properly and top with half can of Sprite. Serve chilled with ice & top with mint leaves or tiny orange pieces.
4. Mango Sharbat:
Take half cup of thick yogurt, mango puree,1-2 tablespoon sugar, a scoop of ice cream and blend it. Serve with a tablespoon of Rooh Afza (optional) and garnish with tiny pieces of mango.
5. Fresh Pineapple Punch:
Muddle 3 chunks of pineapple chunks, 50 grams of Basil leaves, half tablespoon lime juice & sugar syrup. Once all the ingredients are properly mixed and the juices are out top with soda, pineapple pieces & basil leaves.
6. Kiwi Mojito:
Take 1 chopped Kiwi, 2 lemon pieces & mint leaves in a bowl and muddle them well. Put in a glass & add 1-2 teaspoon of sugar syrup. Add soda, top with ice cubes & kiwi slices and serve!
7. Pomegranate Iced Tea:
In 4 cups of boiling water, add 3 hibiscus tea bags with 2 tablespoons of honey for 4-5 minutes. Pour the tea into a bowl through a sieve and add half cup pomegranate juice and 2 tablespoons of pomegranate arils. Stir well and let it refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Top with few drops of lime juice & ice.
8. Cola Chocolate Float:
Blend a cup of coca-cola & 4 tablespoon chocolate ice cream in mixer. Pour the mixture in a glass and top with a scoop of chocolate ice cream. You can place an order online with Swiggy Coupons for Existing Users.
