Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. beta-launched Jio 4G Sim as Preview offer to its partners and employees on 27th Dec 2015 on the eve of the 83rd birth anniversary of late Dhirubhai Ambani. They launched Jio 4G Welcome Offer on 5th Sep 2016. Welcome offer is more of a commercial offer.
Beta Launch is basically the second phase of launching or testing the equipment or software. Beta is the second letter of Greek alphabets; that’s why its called second phase.
Reliance Jio Preview Offer :
As the name indicates its a preview offer. It was launched on 5th Sep 2016. Customers can get Reliance Jio 4G Sim with or without Lyf mobile and can avail the facility of Jio Welcome offer. This offer allowed its customers the voice calls, data, and SMS till 31st December free of cost with a daily data limit of 4GB. There is free access to all the Jio apps.
