Lenovo informed that they have sold about 2 lacs units of K4 Note smartphone in the first flash sale on January 19. They launched Lenovo K4 Note in India on January 5 and the first flash sale was held on January 19.

People of China call Lenovo as LePhone and many countries as IdeaPhone. As Motorola Mobility is a part of Lenovo, they are going to re-brand most of Lenovo Mobiles as Motorola.

Lenovo is developing a Great strategy to replace Samsung in China and its catching up the market. Today Lenovo is the second largest seller in China after Samsung. To market in India Lenovo has planned to manufacture 50% of Lenovo Phones in India under the Make in India campaign. Lenovo sold 50 million smartphones in 2013. It is increasing every day. This figure was 80 million in 2014.

Lenovo K3 Note

Lenovo K3 Note is not a highly sophisticated smartphone and not a very low kind of smartphone. It was launched in India in June 2015. It has a 5.5 inches FHD display and processor of 1.7 GHz 8-core – Cortex-A53 Mediatek MT6752 64-bit and 2GB Ram and 16GB of storage with SD card capacity up to 32GB. It has a 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5 Megapixel front camera. K3 Note runs on Android 5.0 OS. This phone has dual SIM slots and a 2900 mAh battery.

Lenovo K4 Note

The Lenovo K4 Note was brought up in early 2016. The K4 note is 3.5 mm thick at its thinnest edge and weighs 158 gms. It has a 5.5 inches 1080p display with a contrast ratio of 1000 to 1 protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It uses a 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6753 system on a chip with three Gbs of RAM. It runs Android 5.1 customized with Lenovo’s Vibe UI (user interface). The operating system shall be updated to Android 6.0, 16 Gbs of storage as standard. Storage may be increased to 128 GB via microSD card. The rear camera uses a 13 MP sensor with fast focus. The front camera uses a 5 MP sensor.

VIBE K5 & VIBE K5 Plus

The VIBE K5 is a more sophisticated smartphone with 5 inches screen launched at MWC (Mobile World Congress) in early 2016. It runs Android 5.1. Its called Lollipop also. It uses a 64-bit Snapdragon 415 processor and has 2 Gbs of RAM. A microSD card slot gives the expansion of internal storage. The battery has a capacity of 2,750 mAh. Lenovo says the device achieves 15.1 hours of talk time on 3G. The K5 Plus is just the same except it includes a faster Snapdragon 616 processor.

Lenovo Smart Cast

Lenovo declared the Smart Cast at its 2015 Conference of Lenovo Tech World at Beijing. The Smart Cast is an Android smartphone. It uses a built-in laser projector to project a full-size keyboard onto the surface below the phone. This is a unique high tech feature. In addition, the projector can cast movies & games also. The image never gets blurred and always stays in focus because it is laser based.

Lenovo Lemon 3

The Lenovo Lemon 3 was launched in early 2016. It has 5 inches 1080 x 1920 pixel IPS display, a 1.5-GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 system-on-a-chip, 2 Gbs of memory, an Adreno 405 graphics processor, 16 Gb of built-in storage, and dual SIM card slots. It supports 4G and the radio bands used in India. Its battery is of 2750 mAh capacity; according to Lenovo, it will deliver 15 days of standby time on 4G or 6.2 hours of continuous video playback. Storage can be expanded with an SD card.
